Privacy Policy

FlagStatTrax ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Jason Cardin. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use FlagStatTrax at https://flagstattrax.com (the "Service").

By using FlagStatTrax, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you have questions, contact us at jwcardin76@gmail.com.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Team & Game Data: We store the team names, player rosters, jersey numbers, game records, and play-by-play logs that you enter into the app.

Voice & Audio Recordings: When you use the voice entry feature, audio is sent to a third-party speech-to-text service for transcription. Only the resulting text transcript is stored; the audio is not retained.

Photos: If you upload player photos or a team logo, the image files are stored and displayed within the app to identify players and teams in lineups and stat views.

User IDs: A unique identifier is automatically assigned to your account and used internally to link your teams, games, rosters, plays, and purchase records to your account.

Payment & Purchase History: Payments are processed by Stripe and, on mobile, by Google Play Billing or Apple App Store. We do not store your credit card number or payment details. We do store a record of each purchase (product ID, transaction ID, platform, status, and timestamp) to verify and maintain access to premium features.

App Activity: We store the teams, rosters, games, plays, lineups, and score updates you enter into the app.

App Info & Performance: We collect crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data to monitor app health and diagnose and fix issues.

Device & Other IDs: We and our service providers may collect device or other identifiers for analytics, fraud prevention, and purchase verification.

Usage Data: We may collect basic usage events (e.g., feature interactions) to improve the product. No personally identifiable information is included in these events.

FlagStatTrax offers an optional "Export to Google Sheets" feature. When you choose to use this feature, the app requests access to your Google account with the following scopes:

• Google Drive (drive.file): Used solely to create a new spreadsheet file in your Google Drive to store your exported game statistics. We only create files; we do not access, read, modify, or delete any other files in your Drive.
• Google Sheets (spreadsheets): Used solely to write your team's stats, player data, and play log into the newly created spreadsheet.

Google data is used exclusively for the purpose described above — to create and populate a stats export spreadsheet at your explicit request. We do not use your Google data for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose. We do not share your Google data with any third parties.

We use your information for the following purposes:

• App functionality: to provide and operate the Service, including voice transcription, photo display, stats tracking, and the optional Google Sheets export.
• Account management: to create and manage your account, authenticate you, and verify purchase credentials.
• Analytics: to collect data about how the app performs, monitor app health, and diagnose and fix bugs or crashes.
• Fraud prevention, security, and compliance: to monitor and prevent fraudulent activity and comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or personalization.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share data only with the following service providers as necessary to operate the Service:

• Base44 — application hosting and database infrastructure
• Stripe — payment processing
• Voice transcription provider — voice transcription (audio not retained)
• Google — Google Sign-In authentication, optional Sheets export, and Google Play Billing for Android purchases (with your explicit consent)
• Apple — App Store billing for iOS in-app purchases
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your account data and team/game records are retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings → "Delete my account." Deleting your account removes all your teams, games, plays, rosters, lineups, purchase records, and reminder email, and anonymizes your user record. You may also request deletion by contacting jwcardin76@gmail.com. We process in-app deletion requests immediately and email requests within 30 days.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and hashed password storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

FlagStatTrax is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing jwcardin76@gmail.com. If you connected your Google account, you can revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at https://flagstattrax.com/privacy with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
